By 1pm (GMT+1) on Sunday, 11th July 2021 we will be changing the way we manage cryptocurrency wallets on Quidax.
But first here’s a bit of background;
Since Quidax launched we have seen growth in terms we never expected and it’s all thanks ? to you ?. However, since we launched we have not made any major update to the way we manage crypto wallets?.
As we continue to grow we realise that our existing wallets system would not take us to the promised land ?️.
So in December, we started the process of updating the way we currently manage crypto wallets. Now we are ready to take the next step ?.
How does this Update Affect You? ?
For this update by 1pm (GMT+1) on Sunday, 11th July 2021 your wallet address for the cryptos below will change;
- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
- XRP
- USDT
- Dash
- Tron
- BNB
- Litecoin
After the wallet address change, you will still be able to use your old wallet addresses till 11:59pm (GMT+1), 24th July 2021
After that, it will take up to 3 days for you to receive any cryptos sent to your previous address. Yes, that sounds painful but using your new wallet address will avoid all that.
We know it’s rough but we promise it’s ‘growing pains’ ?. Things are about to get a whole lot better for you. Here’s how:
How will this Update Benefit You? ?

You know what that means? More top cryptos for you to trade and make money?. - You’ll spend less on transaction fees when sending crypto.
- You will have the same address for USDT, Ethereum and BNB. So there won’t be any headaches around sending crypto to the wrong wallet address.
- Transactions will be faster to carry out.
What You Need to Do
For the Quidax website, you don’t need to do anything. But to see the new change on the Quidax mobile App, you’ll need to update your app from the App store.
