In the world of Big Tech companies embracing crypto, Telegram has become the latest name 👀. This week, Telegram’s CEO Pavel Durov confirmed that they will be building a decentralized crypto wallet platform.

Brazil Approves Crypto for Payments 🇧🇷
This week, Brazil’s Parliament passed a bill that will approve crypto payments in the country 🎉. Basically, the bill allows people and companies to make everyday payments using different cryptocurrencies 🥳.
So, has Brazil turned to El Salvador? Not really – the President still needs to sign the law first. But, it’s a pretty sweet development nonetheless! 👏
No DOGE For Twitter? 🐶
Last week, Elon Musk revealed his plans for “Twitter 2.0.” And surprisingly, there was no mention of everybody’s favorite meme coin – DOGE 🐶.
Ever since the Dogefather took over Twitter, many DOGE fans have speculated that he would allow the platform to support DOGE payments 🤔. But, it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see the coin feature in Twitter’s future.
Indonesia is Building A CBDC Too 🇮🇩
Another week, and another country launched a central bank digital currency (CBDC) 😁. This time, it was Indonesia. The country claimed that they’ve seen an increase in digital payments, and they’d like blockchain technology to help with that.
The United States started tests for a CBDC two weeks ago, and Japan did last week 🤯. Who do you think could be next?
