Vitalik is Out for Blood ?

We’ve reported that Jack Dorsey doesn’t fancy Ethereum so much ?. Well, the feeling seems to be mutual. Last week, Etheruem’s co-founder Vitalik Buterin criticized Jack and his plans to bring Bitcoin into DeFi. Oh, Vitalik also criticized Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook’s planned cryptocurrency for good measure. Seems there’s enough shade to go around ?. 

Wells Fargo Sees the Light ?

Wells Fargo is one of the biggest banks in the United States. Last week, the company filed to launch a Bitcoin fund. Called the “FS NYDIG BITCOIN FUND I,” the Wells Fargo Bitcoin fund will be open to Wells Fargo’s richest clients. That’s another banking giant accepting Bitcoin. We’re moving up, people! ?

Where Does Your Country Rank? ?

Last week, Chainalysis released a list of countries with the highest crypto adoption levels. The report noted that crypto adoption jumped 880% worldwide ?. But, Vietnam is the country where adoption jumped the most. India, Pakistan, Ukraine, and Kenya completed the top 5 while Nigeria came in 6th. Even countries with strict anti-crypto laws ranked high on the list. Nothing can stop this movement. 

Facebook Payments⚡

Two years after Facebook announced plans for a cryptocurrency, the company’s digital wallet is done and ready to go. Facebook announced on Wednesday that Novi, its digital wallet, is ready to launch ?. They hope to solve some real-world problems with payments, including speed and cost. As for the cryptocurrency itself, we’ll just have to wait and see?.

Look Who’s Back! ?

Dogecoin wants to shed its “joke currency” image ?. Last week, the developers took the first steps by re-launching the Dogecoin Foundation. The Foundation plans to increase Dogecoin’s awareness and usefulness. It includes big names like Vitalik Buterin, Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus, and Jared Birchall. Jared is the CEO of Neuralink – one of the companies owned by the Dogefather himself; Elon Musk.
