Apple Users, Beware ⚠️
If you use MetaMask on an Apple device, then you might want to be careful ?. Last week, the wallet manufacturer warned users on Twitter that iCloud backups for app data could put wallets’ private keys at risk.
MetaMask recommends using a strong password for your wallet ?. Also, you can disable automatic iCloud updates for your wallet by going to:
Settings > Profile > iCloud > Manage Storage > Backups
Crypto For Movies ?
Last week was another big one for crypto wins! AMC Theaters – one of the most popular cinema owners – launched its mobile app. The app allows people to pay for movies using Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and more coins ?.
The feature is only available for American users for now, but AMC has said they’ll expand it soon. Anybody want to watch The Batman this weekend? ?
Surf The (Crypto) Web ?
Thought we were done with adoption news? No! Last week, Opera launched the iOS version of its Web3 browser. The browser comes with a built-in crypto wallet, so users can surf the web and even check out some decentralized finance (DeFi) apps ?.
The Opera Web3 browser is now available for iPhones and iPads. There’s a Windows version of it out already, but Android users will get their fix soon ⏳.
