How to use Instant Buy/Sell on Quidax

If you are new to cryptocurrency, getting a hang of the exchange might prove to be difficult, in such a scenario we recommend using the instant exchange which is fast and within seconds you would have received value for the cryptocurrency you want to buy.

Although using the instant buy/sell feature on Quidax is not just meant for novices, it can also be used in cases where you want to buy/sell cryptocurrency in a hurry and are willing to use the prevailing market price.

Steps to use Instant Buy/Sell to BUY:

1. Go to the Instant Buy/Sell page.
2. Select the cryptocurrency you want to buy.
3. Then, select the currency you want to buy with.
4. In the amount to spend, enter the amount for the currency you are buying with. Example: If you want to buy N50,000 worth of BTC, type 50,000 in that field.  (Please, take note of the selected currency).
5. You can alternatively switch to “amount to buy” using the double arrows to the right of that field. In this case, type in the amount of the asset you want to buy. Example: If you want to buy 0.5 BTC, type 0.5 in that field. (Please, take note of the selected currency).
6. Confirm all the details.
7. Click “Buy”.

Steps to use Instant Buy/Sell to SELL:

1. Go to the Instant Buy/Sell page
2. Click on “Sell”.
3. Select the cryptocurrency you want to sell.
4. Then, select the currency you want to sell for.
5. In the amount to sell, enter the amount for the currency you are selling. Example: If you want to sell 5 LTC, type 5 in that field. (Please, take note of the selected currency).
6. You can alternatively switch to “amount to receive” using the double arrows to the right of that field. In this case, type in the amount of the asset you want to receive. Example: If you want to receive N120,000, type 120,000 in that field. (Please, take note of the selected currency).
7. Confirm all the details.
8. Click “Sell”.

Things to note when using the instant exchange:

• The buy/sell prices are at the prevailing market rate
• The fees charged when using the instant buy/sell is different from when using the exchange
